Team India’s One-Day International (ODI) captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni clinches the ODI player of the year trophy and his team mate Yuvraj Singh honoured with best Twenty20 Performer of the Year award.

MS Dhoni along with Sachin Tendulkar also fearured in the ICC ODI team of the year, 2008 while Virender Sehwag get himself a name in Test team of the year, 2008.

Dhoni emerged as winner of ODI player after beating three big names, Sachin Tendulkar, Nathan Bracken and Mohammad Yousuf. Dhoni is also at No.1 position in ICC ODI Rankings for batsmen.
